The Challenge
The fintech platform was running outbound based on static lists and gut feel. Reps had no signal-based prioritization,they were working accounts that looked good on paper but showed no buying intent.
With limited SDR capacity, they needed to focus on accounts showing real signals,not just firmographic fit.

What We Built
We designed a multi-source signal architecture in Clay:
- Job change signals: New hires in target roles triggering outreach
- Funding announcements: Series A-C raises surfaced automatically
- Intent signals: G2 reviews, competitor mentions, relevant content engagement
- Event enrichment: Pre-show research and post-show follow-up automation
- Composite scoring: Weighted signal scores to rank accounts by priority

The Outcome
Account prioritization shifted from gut feel to scored, ranked, actionable lists. Reps now start each day with a signal-prioritized account list,and event pipeline is enriched before reps arrive at the booth.
